PhD Doctoral Forum on Bio-Inspired Models of Network, Information and Computing System

All PhD students working in disciplines that seek the understanding of the fundamental principles and design strategies in biological systems, and attempting to leverage those understandings to build bio-inspired systems are invited to participate in a Doctoral Forum, where they can present and discuss their work in a supportive environment, with other PhD students and experts from the field.

The Forum will include:

Who can take part?
Any full-time or part-time student at any stage of their PhD, registered at any institution for higher education, can take part in the Forum.

How can I apply to participate in the Forum?
A paper describing your work (maximum 6 pages in length) should be submittedby November 1st. Papers will undergo a light review process for relevance.

How do I submit my paper?
Paper submission is through the ICST Article Submission System, ASSYST. Select 'Bionetics 2011' as the conference and 'Bionetics PhD Forum' as the conference track.

Papers should be written to follow the LNICST guidelines, with a maximum length of 6 pages. The author's kit, which includes these guidelines and templates, can be downloaded from the following link: ftp://ftp.springer.de/pub/tex/latex/lnicst/author
